Google is the greatest.
Google is the conqueror.
Google is GOD.
Google is religion.
Google is the future.
Google is that.. Google is this.. Google is… bla..blaa….blaa….blaaa.
So what’s this all about?
So do you believe if Google have to face a new competitor like what they did to Yahoo! many years ago?
Google has achieved rather a lot in the last 10 years. It has reinvented search, given millions of web users free software and services, and became so entrenched in popular culture that its name is now a verb.
But not everyone is a fan. Rich Skrenta is fed up with Google. An entrepreneur, programmer and author of the world’s first microcomputer virus, Skrenta says Google is out of date - designed for the web of the 1990s, and not working as well with the modern internet. It’s time, he thinks, that it had better competition. “Why does this Coke have no Pepsi?,” he asks.
Skrenta would say that, though, because he has invested in a new search engine. Right now he won’t reveal much about it, except that the code name is Blekko, and that it will be built to search today’s web.
